I design products where clarity matters: logistics billing, healthcare workflows, AI dashboards and apps people open when something needs to get done. The people using these tools are busy and short on patience. My job is to make the next step obvious.
I've led a 5-member design team and I've worked solo on 0 to 1 products. I've built design systems from scratch, shipped live products with paying clients, and designed across web, mobile and Framer. What stays consistent is asking good questions, working closely with developers, and shipping things that actually move the numbers.
Currently, I'm a Product Designer at flutrr, redesigning the whole app from a dating app into a love marriage platform, from onboarding and matchmaking to chat and subscriptions. Before that, I spent over a year at DTskill AI leading a 5-member design team, where our work contributed to a 200% jump in product driven sales.
I recently finished my B.Tech at UEM Kolkata. When I'm not designing, I'm taking apart the apps I use every day to figure out why some feel effortless and others make you want to close the tab. Usually with chai.
NilanjanBefore opening Figma, I want to know what's actually broken. Sometimes a billing tool is really a reconciliation problem, and a dating app is really about trust. My best projects started with sharp questions and ended with answers that felt obvious in hindsight.
Deadlines are tight, data is messy, and sometimes there's no direct line to users. I'm comfortable making confident calls with partial information, testing what I can, and building systems flexible enough to absorb what we learn later.
Leading a 5-member design team taught me that good work comes from conversation, not handoffs. I work closely with developers, marketers and founders, which helped us cut turnaround time by 20% and make handoffs 30% more accurate.
The details nobody notices are often the ones that matter most: a clear empty state, a rate chart that explains itself, a checkout that doesn't make you think. Small decisions like these turn a usable product into one people trust.
My story
Redesigning the entire flutrr app, shifting it from a dating app to a love marriage platform built for long term partner discovery. I own end to end UX across onboarding, matchmaking, profiles, chat and the Essential, Plus and Max plans, and led the flutrr × WowMomo integration.
